I Was Driving My Van When A Very Loud Explosion Occured. Pull Over To Side Of Road And Shut Off Van. Exited Van And Smelled A Strong Gasoline Odor. This Van Was Taken To Dealer And The “heavy” Tech Said That This Has Happen Before, Because Of Lack Of Threads On Engine Head Four To Be Exact. ford Recomends That The Plug Be Change At 100,000 Miles. This E350 Van Has 77,000 Miles On It With The Original Plugs Still In It. ford Has No Current Recall On This Problem.
